Confirmation
Confirmation is the reaffirmation of our baptismal vows. In most cases, our parents made the promise to raise us in the Christian faith when we were very young. Confirmation is the time in our life when we decide to take responsibility of carrying out these vows for ourselves. Being confirmed doesn’t mean that we have learned everything there is to learn about faith, but instead, it gives us a sense of identity that gives us confidence to explore religion and spirituality at a deeper level. First Congregational Church offers a one year Confirmation class when youth are in eighth grade or older. If you have any questions about Confirmation, please contact Heidi Hulme, Pastor Jackie, or Pastor Allen.
