Fellowship
We are a large church, with many small groups. In these small groups, our members get to know each other and find unique ways to grow in faith, serve others and develop friendships. New small groups continue to form, when a member or two sees a need and fills it. Take a look at some of our current small groups.
Growth Groups, to learn and experience faith
- Wednesday Morning Lectionary Bible Study Group (Wednesdays, 10:00am)
Get a head start on the Sunday morning sermon scriptures, go deeper in understanding the scriptures, and have lots of laughs while doing it
- Wednesday Evening Introduction to Christianity (Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30pm)
This is a faith basics course, that includes Bible overview, understanding worship, how to pray and what it means to be a follower of Christ
- Sunday Morning Common Ground Women’s Bible Study (Sundays, 9:30-10:30am)
Discover common ground with other women through Bible study that helps us develop our strengths and make lasting relationships
Service Groups, to serve others
- Baptismal Gift Cross Stitchers (flexible)
Work individually to cross stitch a baptismal picture for one of our newest members
- Communion Preparation Ministry (First Sunday of the month)
Prepare the bread and grape juice for Sunday morning communion
- Communion Serving Ministry (First Sunday of the month)
Assist our pastors in serving communion to members during Sunday morning worship
- Ushers (Sunday morning)
Welcome and assist worshippers as they enter the sanctuary for Sunday worship
- Hospitality Team (Sunday morning)
Welcome guests to worship, and help them make connections and friendships at our church
Fellowship Groups, to develop significant friendships
- Church Life and Growth (First Monday, 7:00pm)
Help develop ways for members to make friends, identify gifts and talents and find their unique place for ministry
- First Friends
Be a friend to individuals or families visiting our church and help them get acquainted and involved in our church life
